Activated problem. If your phone is suffering from this problem your
Nokia Asha 303 will stop using it's Speaker and Microphone. Because
phone will be directing all audio to handsfree connector. So if your
phone shows a headphone sign on screen and it's earpiece and mic stops
working don't panic there is a moderately simple solution. I will
explain every step and post the diagram below.
Clean The Area around Handsfree Connector on Motherboard
Remove Purple Marked IC and make the Jumpers
Replace the black marked Crystal IC
Clean The Area:
First of all you should clean the area around the Handsfree Connector
of the motherboard because almost 60% of handsfree problems occur
because of Shortage, Moisture or Carbon not just Nokia Asha 303 but
most of the Cell Phones. So there is a strong chance your problem will
be solved by just cleaning it. I have marked the general area with RED
border line.
Remove IC and Jumper:
If cleaning doesn't work Remove the IC I have marked in PURPLE and
jumper it's left and right points as shown in the diagram below.
Replace the IC:
If cleaning and Jumper both don't work you can replace the IC I have
marked in BLACK your problem will be most likely solved.
